Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for social workers as set forth by the Kentucky Board of Social Work.
30 credit hours for Clinical social workers during your three year license renewal. 30 credit hours available from distant learning courses.
15 credit hours for Licensed social workers during your three year license renewal. 15 credit hours available from distant learning courses.
3 credit hours are needed in social work code of ethics (course must have a KBSW-Ethics Approval#); and every third renewal period 6 credit hours on suicide assessment/treatment and 1.5 hours covering the recognition and prevention of pediatric abusive head trauma.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of State Social Work Boards (ASWB #1020). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
CE Learning Systems has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5951. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. CE Learning Systems is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
