About the Course

This course is based on a resource guide published by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). It includes the Controlled Substances Act, US chemical control, narcotics, stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, steroids, marijuana/cannabis, inhalants, designer drugs, and drugs of concern. It should be noted that there are multiple photos of every substance (including syringes), which may be cue-reactive.

  1. Discuss the scheduling of drugs.
  2. Identify origin, street names, use, effects on the body, effects on the mind, drug schedule, and legal status for each drug.
  3. Describe drugs of concern.
