About the Course

This systematic review investigates the impact of stigma on the mental health and quality of life of infertile women globally. The review includes 28 studies, highlighting stigma as a significant factor contributing to psychological distress, including anxiety, depression, and social withdrawal, and a decline in quality of life. The findings reveal that cultural, social, and personal factors such as education, occupation, and living environment influence the intensity of stigma. The study emphasizes the importance of tailored psychological interventions, improved social support systems, and public health education to mitigate stigma’s adverse effects and enhance the quality of life for affected individuals.
