Effectiveness of Therapeutic Gardens for People With Dementia

A Systemic Review

About the Course

This course offers a comprehensive systematic review of quantitative studies evaluating the impact of therapeutic gardens and gardening therapy on individuals with dementia (PWD). It aims to rigorously assess the effectiveness of these non-pharmacological interventions in enhancing behavioral, emotional, and cognitive outcomes. Additionally, the review explores design features that optimize therapeutic garden environments, providing actionable insights for the development of tailored spaces that best support the well-being of PWD.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, Effectiveness of Therapeutic Gardens for People With Dementia created by Veronica Murroni et al in 2021.
