This statistically heavy meta-analysis examines the impact of significant-other involvement in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatments compared to individually-based therapies. The study screened 4,901 records and analyzed data from 16 independent trials, totaling 2,115 individuals. Overall, the study highlights the advantages of incorporating significant-others in SUD treatment and provides insights into theories of SUD maintenance.

She has published multiple works in peer reviewed journals.

Additionally, she developed and continues to lead the Continuing Education Program for Social Workers and Nurses and often leads complex process improvement projects Prior to this, her primary focus was in mental health and worked in both the outpatient and inpatient settings providing support to adults with mental illness.
