Sandi Cardaman has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for more than 15 years. She has worked with eating disorders, domestic violence and clients who are working with the dependency system.

  1. Identify the important general provisions of Title 42 regarding the confidentiality of substance use disorder patient records.
  2. Identify and apply Title 42 requirements regardng disclosures, both with, and without patient consent.
  3. Specify the legal effect and limitations regarding court orders authorizing records disclosures and use.
