“Going Mobile”: Increasing the Reach of Parent-mediated Intervention for Toddlers With ASD Via Group-based and Virtual Delivery

About the Course

Evidence supports early intervention for toddlers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), but there are many barriers to accessing these services, creating a need for innovative service models to maximize resources and efficiency in order to provide wider access to services. This study examined a parent-mediated intervention which involved group-based learning and individual coaching and was delivered either in-person or virtually. Results and recommendations of this research will be reviewed.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, “Going Mobile”: Increasing the Reach of Parent-mediated Intervention for Toddlers With ASD Via Group-based and Virtual Delivery created by Jessica Brian, PhD, Cpsych et al. in 2022.
