Rethinking Unhealthy Alcohol Use in the United States: A Structured Review

About the Course

This course provides a comprehensive examination of alcohol consumption patterns and their impact on public health in the U.S. Through a structured review of existing literature, the article explores various dimensions of unhealthy alcohol use, including prevalence rates, societal factors, and potential interventions. The review calls for a reevaluation of current approaches to addressing alcohol use disorders and advocates for more holistic, evidence-based strategies to mitigate their adverse effects on individuals and communities.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, Rethinking Unhealthy Alcohol Use in the United States: A Structured Review created by Joseph R Volpicelli, MD, Ph.D. et al. in 2022.
