Joseph R Volpicelli MD, Ph.D.
Joseph R. Volpicelli, MD, Ph.D., is a prominent figure in addiction medicine. He is known for his significant contributions to the understanding and treatment of alcohol and substance use disorders. Dr. Volpicelli is recognized for his research on pharmacological treatments for addiction, including the development of the medication naltrexone for alcohol dependence.
Percy Menzies, M.Pharm
Percy Menzies is the president of Assisted Recovery Centers of America, LLC, a center for the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction. He has worked closely with drug courts and provided training on the use of anti-craving medications for addiction to reduce recidivism within the criminal justice system.
Danny Wamsley is a licensed addiction specialist with a clinical certification with the National Association of Dual Diagnosis (NADD). Danny currently works in manage care as a DSS liaison. His primary goal is to provide consultation to social workers who are involved with child-protective services and In-Home Services. Danny also has 10+ years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with intellectual disability and substance use. Danny’s professional interests include addictions/recovery, intellectual disability, foster care, military, trauma, and domestic violence.
