About the Course

This course is a scoping review of consumer health information technologies (CHITs) in primary substance use prevention. It includes: CD-Rom based programs, computer delivered prevention programs, gender-specific drug prevention, family-based prevention, film, internet, mass media, social media, television, radio, and mobile.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, Consumer Health Information Technology in the Prevention of Substance Abuse: Scoping Review created by Apoorva Milind Pradhan, BAMS, MPH et al. in 2019.
