CBT Supervision Behind Closed Doors: Supervisor and Supervisee Reflections on Their Experiences and Use of Clinical Supervision

About the Course

The authors of this study note that CBT (Cognitive behavioral therapy) supervision has lacked both quality control and empirical evidence to support efficacy. The authors of this study used a qualitative research design to emphasize the individual dynamics involved in supervision in psychology using CBT techniques. Several suggestions for improving CBT supervision for both supervisors and supervisees are given in the conclusions of this article.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, CBT Supervision Behind Closed Doors: Supervisor and Supervisee Reflections on Their Experiences and Use of Clinical Supervision created by Jason Roscoeet al. in 2023.
