Covid 19 and Telehealth With Children: What Have We Learned

About the Course

This course is based on two articles that looked at how Covid 19 impacted transitions to telehealth services for adolescents and children in the New York/New Jersey area. The articles discuss the process for implementing this change as well as the challenges faced by both clients and clinicians when using telehealth services. A discussion of how different populations responded to telehealth and some of the advantages of telehealth services are included in this course.

The content for this course is data-heavy and technical in tone.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, Children and Telehealth in Mental Healthcare: What We Have Learned from Covid 19 and 40,000+ Sessions created by Gabriel Hoffnung, Ph.D. in 2021 and the article COVID-19 pandemic-related transition to telehealth in child and adolescent mental health created by Leslie K.
