The Development of an Internet-Based Treatment for Problem Gamblers and Concerned Significant Others-A Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial

About the Course

This course discusses the development of an internet-based treatment for problem gamblers and their concerned significant others (COS). Two arms were used, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and behavioral couples therapy (BCT), both measuring depression and anxiety using the PHQ-9 and GAD-7., as well as screening for problem gambling using National Opinion Research Center Screen for Gambling Problems (NODS,) and measuring the effect of CBT and BCT using the Time-Line Follow-Back for Gambling (TLFB-G).

This course is based on the reading-based online article, The Development of an Internet-Based Treatment for Problem Gamblers and Concerned Significant Others-A Pilot Randomized Controlled Trial created by Anders Nilsson et al. in 2017.
