APA Ethics Code: With the 2016 Amendments to Standard 3.04

About the Course

The most recent revision to the APA Ethics Code (2002) articulated general core principles as well as specific ethical standards that inform the practices of psychologists. Psychologists and those they supervise are expected to uphold these principles and standards in clinical practice, research, industry, and educational settings. Major revisions to the 2002 Ethics Code, in 2010 and 2017, largely strengthened previously ambiguous language concerning the responsibility of psychologists to uphold core principles of human rights.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, APA Ethics Code: With the 2016 Amendments to Standard 3.04 created by American Psychological Association in 2017.
