Randomized Controlled Pilot Trial of Supportive Text Messages for Patients With Depression

About the Course

Depression is expected to be the leading cause of disability worldwide by 2030. Rural areas without access to traditional therapeutic interventions may be most susceptible to continued or exacerbated problems with depression. This quantitative study explores the efficacy of a supportive text messaging mobile health intervention in analyzing differences in Beck Depression Inventory scores and in visual analogue scales scores.

This course is based on the article, Randomized Controlled Pilot Trial of Supportive Text Messages for Patients with Depression created by Vincent I. O. Ayapong, PhD, et al. in 2017.
