Group Treatment for Women Gamblers Using Web, Teleconference and Workbook-Effectiveness Pilot

About the Course

This course discusses problem gambling treatment. Women were given problem gambling treatment via teleconference and webinar using a self-help work book. This remote treatment was effective using a set of modules. While a pilot study, it showed that remote treatment is viable to treat women and gambling. However, there was an attrition rate of 38%.

This course is based on the reading-based online article, Group Treatment for Women Gamblers Using Web, Teleconference and Workbook-Effectiveness Pilot created by Roberta R. Boughton et al in 2016.
