It includes: disability etiquette, screening for disabilities, from screening to treatment, a case study, intake, adapting SUD screening for persons with co-existing disabilities, and use of screening information. Each type of disability is highlighted through the entire screening and intake process.
This course is based on the reading-based online article, TIP 29-Substance Use Disorder Treatment for People With Physical and Cognitive Disabilities-Screening Issues created by SAMHSA in 2012.
