About the Course

In this presentation, Johanna Bergan and Brianne Masselli, Youth MOVE National, tell how to partner with transition-age youth and share best practices to build and sustain youth-driven programs. Recovery to Practice (RTP) training helps behavioral health and general healthcare practitioners improve delivery of recovery-oriented services, supports, and treatment.

This course is based on the recorded webinar, Transition Age Youth: Motivating Others Through Voices of Experience created by Johanna Bergan and Brianne Masselli in 2017.

Johanna Bergan
Johanna Bergan is the Executive Director Youth MOVE National (youthmovenational.org). Johanna leads and guides Youth MOVE National’s work to ensure all young adults in youth-serving systems are seen as leaders. She believes strongly that change stems from dialogue between individuals with lived experience.
Brianne Masselli
Brianne Masselli is the Youth Coordinator for Thrive, Maine’s Trauma Informed System of Care. Ms. Masselli has utilized her personal experience in the system to advocate, empower and create system change. Ms. Masselli is currently a member of Youth MOVE National and a member of YADA (Youth Advisors Driving Action).

Anna Lynn Hollis, Ph.D., School Psychologist
Anna Hollis, Ph.D., NCSP, is a nationally certified school psychologist currently living near Detroit, Michigan. She is licensed as a psychologist in 2 states (Michigan and South Carolina) and certified as a school psychologist in in 5 states (South Carolina, Michigan, Vermont, Pennsylvania, and Maryland). She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA); the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP); the Michigan Association of School Psychologists (MASP); and the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science (ACBS). Dr. Hollis obtained her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of South Carolina. Her professional interests include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Positive Psychology; Trauma-Informed Practice; and Urban School Psychology.
