After taking this course, you should be able to:
Identify the psychosocial and biomedical screening and assessment process that may occur after initial contact as an individual undergoes detoxification.
Describe the physical services for withdrawal from the different classifications of substance abuse.
Explain the integrated approach to management of polydrug abuse and acknowledge the alternative approaches to detoxification with consideration to the special populations.
