TIP 48, Part 2 – Chapter 1 is an implementation guide for program administrators. Chapter 1 lays out the rationale for the approach taken in Chapter 2 and will help in understanding the processes of organizational change and the factors that can facilitate or impede such change. The understanding of these processes and factors will aid in setting reasonable goals and ensure that the journey is a rewarding one for all involved. Chapter 2 provides detailed information on how to achieve high-quality implementation of the recommendations. Topics covered include
organizational change, the reasons for addressing depressive symptoms in treatment, the challenges of implementing new clinical practices, the role of the administrator in introducing and supporting new clinical practices, and the steps of organizational change.
