Ethics is an individual approach to moral issues, a philosophical framework from which to critcally evaluate the choices and actions people take to deal with various aspects of daily living. This chapter addresses ethical issues for treatment providers, basic ethical principals, ethical issues in working with HIV-infected substance abusers, and a step-by-step model for making ethical decisions. This course covers Chapter 8 only.
