About the Course:

Women in jail have often been the victims of physical or sexual abuse in childhood and/or adulthood. Consistent with the finding that most women with co-occurring mental and substance use disorders have histories of abuse, trauma histories can be considered the norm among women with co-occurring disorders in jail.
