About the Authors:
Terence T. Gorski, M.A., is currently the president of the CENAPS Corporation, a private training and consulting organization in Hazelcrest, Illinois. He has directed alcoholism treatment centers at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Illinois, and Illinois Central Community Hospital in Chicago.
Merlene Miller, M.A., is program director for the alcoholism/drug dependence studies program at Park College in Kansas City, Missouri. Through CENAPS Corporation she also develops educational programs and materials for alcoholism and drug dependence treatment centers.
This course is recommended for health care professionals, especially addiction counselors, psychologists, mental health counselors, social workers, and nurses who seek knowledge about addiction and recovery. It is appropriate for all levels of participants’ knowledge.
