We are an approved provider of NAADAC, Provider #410 and the New Mexico Credentialing Board will accept our credits based on this approval.
All credentials require 40 credits for renewal with at least 6 being in ethics. We do not currently offer any Ethics courses for Prevention professionals.

Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor
Initial - 270 hours specific to the CDAC domains (see below). Six hours must be specific to counselor ethics. Remaining hours must be addiction, counseling, or behavioral health training. Screening, Assessment, and Engagement Treatment Planning, Collaboration, and Referral Counseling Professional and Ethical Responsibilities All addiction specific training/workshops/education must be completed within 5 years of application submission. Renewal - Thirty-four (34) hours must be in Counseling and/or Behavioral Health-related hours
Six (6) hours must be in Counseling, Legal or Professional Ethics and Responsibilities.

270 CE credit hours required for initial credential.
