Level I Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors and Level II Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors must complete thirty (30) contact hours of alcohol and drug abuse continuing education every two (2) calendar years. Eighteen (18) hours must be face to face and twelve (12) hours may be via multi-media with at least six (6) of the thirty (30) hours relating to ethics.
