Our distant learning courses are accepted for continuing education credit for addiction counselors, as set forth by the Arkansas Substance Abuse Certification Board.
Renewal Certification
Courses must be a minimum of 3 credits.
ADC : 14 hours required
AADC : 20 hours required.
CCS: 40 hours are required including 6 hours directly related to clinical supervision skills.
CCPD and CCPD-D: 40 hours are required including 6 hours directly related to ethics.
PR: 10 hours are required in peer recovery domains.
20 hours of distance learning (online/homestudy) allowed for renewal CE
Initial Certification
Arkansas does not accept distance learning hours for basic (initial) credentialing.
Addiction Counselor CE is a service of CE Learning Systems LLC. CE Learning Systems is approved to offer continuing educations courses by Arkansas Substance Abuse Certification Board. CE Learning Systems LLC maintains responsibility for the courses.
