Addiction Counselor CE’s distant learning courses are available for continuing education credit for Social Workers, Counselors, and MFTs, as set forth by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board.
30 credit hours are required. All 30 hours can be completed online.
3 hours must be in ethics.
3 hours of supervision training only for licensees with training supervision designation.
SWAs are required to complete 15 hours of continuing education hours, three hours of which must be in ethics.
Art Therapist
All Licensed Professional Art Therapist applicants must be Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC) in good standing, as verified by the Art Therapy Credential Board (ATCB). Until October 4, 2024, persons who are a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) and have held the ATR for a minimum of five years continuously may apply. Those holding an ATR-P are currently not eligible to apply for an LPAT. Persons without an ATR-BC or ATR, and who do not hold an out of state license in art therapy, are not eligible to apply for licensure regardless of experience or current license status.

Music Therapist
All Licensed Professional Music Therapist applicants must hold a Music Therapy Board Certification (MT-BC) in good standing, as verified by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT).
