40 credit hours at two year renewal of license (odd license numbers in odd year; even license numbers in even year) December 31st is the date of renewal.
40 CE credits in the licensing renewal period may be distant learning (online/homestudy) courses.
At least two hours must be in ethics.
At least one hour must be in suicide prevention.
Addiction Counselor CE, a service of CE Learning Systems, is approved to offer continuing education courses by the Association of the American Psychological Association (APA). CE Learning Systems maintains responsibility for the courses.
